LEGAL TERMS & POLICIES ISTDP-HUB
Welcome to ISTDP-Hub (the “Platform”), operated by PsychotherapyDynamics (“we”, “us”, “our”). These Legal Terms & Policies govern your access to and use of our services. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms in their entirety.
1.TERMS OF SERVICE
1.1 DEFINITIONS For the purposes of these Terms:
“User”: Any individual or entity accessing or registering on the Platform.
“Content”: All data, text, images, video, audio, listings, messages, or other materials uploaded, posted, or transmitted by Users.
“Services”: All functionalities provided by ISTDP-Hub including but not limited to directories, forums, messaging systems, research databases, AI tools, and subscription-based features.
1.2 ELIGIBILITY Access to the Platform is limited to individuals who are at least 18 years old. By registering, you warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
1.3 ACCOUNT REGISTRATION AND SECURITY You agree to provide truthful, accurate, and complete information during registration and to keep such information up to date. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities conducted through your account.
1.4 USER-GENERATED CONTENT (UGC) & COPYRIGHT Users retain full ownership of the intellectual property rights to the Content they submit. However, by posting Content on the Platform, you grant PsychotherapyDynamics a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform such Content in connection with the operation and promotion of the Platform.
You represent and warrant that:
You own or have secured all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions for any Content you post.
Your Content does not infringe any copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other proprietary rights.
We are not responsible for monitoring or pre-approving Content. We disclaim all liability arising from Content posted by Users. Users are fully and solely responsible for their submissions. ISTDP-Hub acts solely as a hosting provider in accordance with applicable Croatian and EU law.
If you believe that any Content infringes your intellectual property rights, please notify us at admin@istdp-hub.com with detailed information. We will respond to valid takedown requests within 72 hours.
1.5 PROHIBITED CONTENT AND CONDUCT
Users must not post or transmit Content that:
Violates any applicable law or regulation
Pretends to be someone else, impersonating or claiming false academic and knowledge certifications
Is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, hateful, or discriminator
Promotes violence, illegal activities, or misinformation
Contains unsolicited advertising, spam, or malicious software
We reserve the right to remove any Content and suspend or terminate accounts and users violating these provisions.
1.6 MODERATION POLICY While some listings may be reviewed prior to publication, ISTDP-Hub does not assume responsibility for ongoing monitoring of all Content. We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to remove or disable access to any Content at our sole discretion.
1.7 SUBSCRIPTIONS, PAYMENTS, AND BILLING All paid Services are offered on a subscription basis, billed via Stripe. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled by the User. Users are responsible for ensuring payment methods are valid. Failure to process payment may result in suspension of access. Users have the right to cancel their subscription at any time and can do so under their profile/dasboard page always accessible from the main menu upon login.
1.8 DISCLAIMERS All information provided on the Platform is for informational purposes only. ISTDP-Hub does not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, legal, or professional advice. Reliance on any information is at your own risk.
PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT DISCLAIMER
ISTDP-Hub is a digital platform that allows psychotherapists and organizations to create profiles, publish content, and interact with other users. We do not employ, endorse, verify, supervise, or monitor the professional activities, qualifications, licensing status, or conduct of any Users, including those identifying as psychotherapists or mental health professionals.
All therapeutic services, advice, or interactions provided by Users outside the Platform or as a result of connections made through the Platform are entirely independent of ISTDP-Hub. We are not a party to any therapeutic relationship established between Users and their clients.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ISTDP-Hub disclaims all liability for any actions, omissions, advice, services, or harm—whether direct, indirect, or consequential—arising from or related to the professional conduct of Users, including but not limited to psychotherapy, counseling, or mental health services provided by Users to third parties.
1.9 LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, PsychotherapyDynamics shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.
1.10 INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PsychotherapyDynamics, its affiliates, and staff from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising out of your use of the Platform, your Content, or your violation of these Terms.
1.11 GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Zagreb, Croatia. EU consumers may utilize the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
1.12 CHANGES TO TERMS We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
2. PRIVACY POLICY
2.1 DATA CONTROLLER
PsychotherapyDynamics is the data controller responsible for your personal data under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

2.2 PERSONAL DATA WE COLLECT
Identity Data: Name, username, profile information
Contact Data: Email address
Financial Data: Payment identifiers (processed via Stripe, we do not store card details)
Transaction Data: Details of subscriptions and payments
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, operating system
Usage Data: Information about how you use our Platform
Marketing Data: Preferences regarding receiving newsletters
Content Data: Any data you post on the Platform (listings, messages, forum posts)
2.3 PURPOSES AND LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
To register and manage your account (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
To process payments and provide subscription services (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
To manage our relationship with you, including notifying you of changes (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
To improve our Platform and user experience (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR)
To send marketing communications (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, with opt-out)
To comply with legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR)
2.4 DATA RETENTION
We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes we collected it for, including legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Typically, account data is retained for 6 years after account closure.
2.5 DATA SHARING AND INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
We share data with trusted third parties:
Stripe Payments Europe (payment processing)
Google Ireland Ltd (analytics, with IP anonymization enabled)
We do not transfer your data outside the EEA without appropriate safeguards in place.
2.6 YOUR RIGHTS UNDER GDPR

2.7 SECURITY MEASURES
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including SSL encryption, firewalls, and access controls.
2.8 MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS
You will receive service-related communications by default. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link provided in each email or directly at admin@istdp-hub.com with subject: unsubscribe.

3.1 WHAT ARE COOKIES? Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit websites. They help us provide a better user experience by remembering preferences and analyzing traffic.

3.5 THIRD-PARTY COOKIES We use Google Analytics to understand how our Platform is used. Google may store this information on servers within or out the EU.

REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY
4.1 RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL You have the right to withdraw from a subscription contract within 14 days of purchase without providing any reason, provided you have not accessed paid features.
4.2 HOW TO EXERCISE YOUR RIGHT To exercise your withdrawal right, notify us via email at admin@istdp-hub.com within the 14-day period.
4.3 PARTIAL REFUNDS FOR TECHNICAL ISSUES In cases where the Platform is unavailable due to technical failures we will strive to repair the issue. No rights for refunds due to technical problems.
4.4 CANCELLATION POLICY
Subscriptions can be cancelled anytime through your account settings.
Cancellation stops future payments but does not refund past payments unless covered under sections 4.1 or 4.3.
